Before Lighting

Trim the wick to ¼ inch (6 mm) before each burn. This helps prevent soot and ensures an even flame.
For wooden wicks, trim to 1/8 inch (3 mm) and remove any charred pieces.

First Burn

Allow the candle to burn 2–3 hours or until the entire surface has melted.
This prevents tunneling and helps your candle last longer.

While Burning

Always burn candles within sight.
Keep away from drafts, fans, open windows, pets, and children.
Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
Keep the melt pool free of wick trimmings or debris.

Extinguishing

Gently snuff out the flame instead of blowing it out to avoid smoke and hot wax splatter.
Allow the candle to cool completely before re-lighting.

Aftercare

Stop burning when ¼ inch (6 mm) of wax remains at the bottom.
Store your candle in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve fragrance.

Candle Lighting Cautions
